Second online workshop on "SafeMa Community Awareness Raising and Infodays" by the University of Health Sciences

About 80 midwifery-skilled participants have been trained in strategies involved in raising awareness of quality maternal and child health services in remote areas and communities.

On July 29th, 2021, the University of Health Sciences organized the second online workshop on "SafeMa Community Awareness Raising and Infodays" with about 80 midwifery-skilled participants in the Kingdom of Cambodia. The purpose of this workshop is to promote the “SafeMa: Education Hubs for Excellence in Midwifery” project and the SafeMa project-specific strategy that will contribute to raising awareness of quality maternal and child health services in remote areas and communities.

It should be noted that the University of Health Sciences has participated in the implementation of the project "SafeMa: Education Center for the Excellence of Midwifery", which is supported by the European Union project Erasmus + Higher Education-International Capacity Building for 3 years from 2018 to 2021. This is the second among three planned workshops for the "SafeMa: Education Hubs for Excellence in Midwifery" project.
