SafeMa Project

The project "SafeMa: Education Hubs for Excellence in Midwifery" is approved in the framework of the European Programme: Erasmus+ Higher Education-International Capacity Building with project reference number: 598946-EPP-1-2018-1-VN-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP.

The SafeMa project aims to create a new postgraduate programme in Advanced Midwifery Practice in Asia. The SafeMa E+ CBHE project focuses on postgraduate level training, providing advanced courses and guidance in developing research skills necessary to develop innovative new data-driven techniques.

Study Visits

Five academic professionals from each Asian HEΙ will travel to Europe to witness first-hand the teaching process, course and lab setup and other operational issues.

SafeMa Study visit at the University College of Northern Denmark

The second SafeMa study visit was hosted by the University College of Northern Denmark (UCN) from 18 to 20 November 2019 in Aalborg, Denmark. This visit presented the UCN Midwifery Programme and the Reflective -Based Practice Learning (RPL) and thoroughly discussed the methodology and contents of the SafeMa curriculum.
